You're giving social and emotional connection to people whose lives are often constrained by mobility impairments, health complications and feelings of isolation. Virtual Reality provides opportunities for elderly Queenslanders to virtually leave the four walls of their home, reconnecting with past valued memories, checking off “bucket-list” items they thought they would never achieve, and even experiencing things that are only possible in fairytales - like becoming a mermaid. You're helping more people re-engage with the world in ways they never thought was possible due to mobility and health problems.
