A legacy of care

For long-time supporter Isabel Cooper, BlueCare has been a meaningful part of her life for many years.

As a volunteer pianist, Isabel performed her “Piano for the Soul” program, bringing joy and precious moments to people.

Even in the aftermath of natural disasters like floods and cyclones, Isabel visited many affected communities, playing music to lift spirits in aged-care facilities, including BlueCare homes.

Now, Isabel has decided to leave a gift in her Will to BlueCare because she values independence and healthy ageing.

“I support with monthly donations and have also left a gift in my Will so they can keep helping people to stay in their own home for as long as possible,’’ she shares.

Her parents lived long lives in their own home with support when needed. Inspired by this, she hopes to do the same.

“I have a vested interest in making sure that BlueCare can keep doing what they do until the day comes when I may need them myself.
“And when I’m gone, my legacy will mean they will be there for others that need them too.”

To those who’ve already chosen to extend their legacy of care through a gift in their Will – thank you.

Your foresight ensures future generations of Queenslanders will receive the same care and dignity that began with Sister Olive Crombie in 1953.
