A gift that strikes the right chord

A joyful morning of music and laughter filled BlueCare’s Carina Residential Aged Care Home, thanks to a beautiful gift— a baby grand piano donated by generous supporter Lexi.

To celebrate, Residential Service Manager Catherine Sherlock (pictured) hosted a thank you morning tea. Lexi and her daughter Elizabeth met residents and saw firsthand the happiness their gift inspired.

“It was so special to see the residents light up with the music,” they shared. “Knowing the piano will continue to bring joy makes our gift feel truly meaningful.”

Catherine said the donation had added a beautiful new dimension to life at Carina.

“Music brings people together, and this piano will be at the heart of many joyful moments to come.”
