Why are we fundraising?
We’re running 140km for Queenslanders who need our support.
From May 8-10, we’re taking on the Great Wheelbarrow Race, competing as a mixed team called Ground Control to raise funds for BlueCare.
In 2025, our team captain, Finley Green, ran the race as a solo competitor for the same cause, raising nearly $1500 and winning the solo category. This year, we’re hoping to raise even more!
BlueCare supports over 55,000 Queenslanders each year, makes 3.5 million home visits, and cares for 5,000+ residents in aged‑care homes, helping people live independently, safely, and with dignity.
Every kilometre we run is for someone who needs our support; every dollar you donate helps ensure they receive it.
