Keeping people connected

Hip, hip, hooray!

So what makes Homefield so special? Not only is it over 60 years old but this facility has a rich history of giving!

The centre first became a place of care for the elderly in 1962. This was thanks to a generous donation from Alan and Enid Shepherd. Since then, Homefield has embraced the notion of philanthropy.

Most recently, in 2018, the facility received an overhaul of refurbishments and upgrades. This included a new Wellness Centre, all thanks to the kindness of supporters. This Centre is used for day-respite including activities, catching-up with friends and visiting with family. There is also a salon that is used once a week for hair treatments and other pampering activities.
