We are so grateful for everyone who attended our high tea in September. Together we celebrated BlueCare’s past, present, and future, which is made possible by kind-hearted people choosing to leave a gift in their Will to BlueCare.
As the clink of teaspoons on teacups chimed throughout the room, a number of key people were introduced to speak about their involvement with BlueCare over the years, and to explain how generous gifts helped form the services we offer today and what can be achieved as we look towards the next 70 years.
Over in the Experience Corner, guests were encouraged to gain hands-on knowledge about some of the items and equipment that our generous community makes possible, such as the Visionflex Telehealth Cart and Alpha Lifecare’s sensory toys – the PARO Seal and HUG Doll – which are soon to be trialled in BlueCare.
The Wesley Hospital Choices Craft Group’s contributions to providing Fidget Mats were also shared and celebrated.
BlueCare has been a pillar in the aged care community for 70 years thanks to the kind and compassionate support of people like you. We are so grateful for the people who donate, fundraise, partner and volunteer with us, and make the extraordinary decision to leave a gift in their Will to BlueCare.
It is with this wonderful community that we can continue to offer outstanding services, like in-home dementia care, virtual reality experiences, and telehealth equipment and services.
